VTG~ METAL HANDLED SHAVING / BARBER BRUSH w/ LEATHER TRAVEL SLEEVE~EXCELLENT!

Description

This listing is for (1) VINTAGE Metal handled shaving brush which is in EXCELLENT condition and appears to have never been used.
I found it among my mother's things when I was clearing out her house. As my mother would have been well over 100 now, I know this is quite old.
The brush is approximately 3 1/2 " in length including the metal handle. It is approximately 1 3/8" wide and about 5/8" high when laying flat. The metal handle is in very nice condition and there is a knob at the top which is well attached but does turn. I believe the tiny knob at the top is purely decorative as the ergonomic way to hold the brush would be to grasp it on the flat part of the metal handle close to where the bristles are attached.
There is also a brown leather travel sleeve that comes with it. Oddly enough, the sleeve has an "embossed" pattern on it in the leather. When you look at it through a magnifying glass you can see it is a picture of a bear along with the words "Yellowstone Park", probably from a visitor's center gift shop! I am assuming it was probably a gift that someone brought back for my father when they visited the park as I do know my parents had never been there but always wanted to go.
In the spirit of full disclosure, there is a very small darker spot on the back of the leather sleeve which is about 3/8" in diameter and I have attempted to show it in the pictures. It is not very noticeable but I wanted to bring it to your attention should it bother you.
The leather sleeve is open at both ends which serves to keep the bristles from splaying out when it is in the sleeve.
