A small number of these Astronaut Water bottles were distributed to the press by Canada Dry as part of a campaign to promote the company's contributions to the space program.
Canada Dry supplied water to NASA for use on space flights.
Astronaut Water was never sold to the public so these bottles are extremely rare.
