My shovel guitar has a special custom made Humbucker pickup , as you can see in the pictures the Jack cable is attached directly to the pickup, and is mounted to the top of the shovel blade. This pickup sounds fantastic.  Just adjust the sound ,and other voice effects on your guitar Amplifier

.A little info about myself, I'm a retired former C-6 contractor ( Cabinetry and Mill work ) with over 50 years of wood working experience . I take a lot of pride in my workmanship, and enjoy building " Shovel ,and Cigar Box Guitars !  A local Guitar store carry's my custom made guitars on consignment so you know the quality must be good. These make a great gift for a guitar playing friend, or family member.

The Shove Guitar measures about 39 inches total length.,And weighs aprox 3 pounds~ ( Note~ Made to play only with a slide. Love the sound of slide guitars !
The tuners are enclosed/chrome  they work smoothly easy to turn, and hold the " DGD " tuning well.
The Nut and Bridge are made of Aluminum set at a 25 1/2 inch scale
The Strings are Med light Electric .042 ~ .034 ~ .024 ~  tuned to "GDG " !
The  electric pick-up is A .Humbucker custom  made very thin about 1/4 inch thick with great sound..
The frets are burned onto the hard wood handle.Using a 25 1/2 guitar scale.
There are 2 Chrome Guitar strap buttons attached,Can be played with a guitar strap like any guitar. NOTE..GUITAR STRAP IS INCLUDED !
