    Highly sought after filter
    for NBC/CBRN/Riot protection, the 3M FR-57 40mm NATO Multi-Gas filter can be used with PAPR's (Powered Air Purifying Respirators & standard 40m threaded gas masks.  The FR57 filter [ 3M p/n RBE-57 ] is NIOSH Approved with the FRM40-20 Protective Mask.
    USA NIOSH Approval # TC-23C-2071.
    Protection Classes:  OV/SD/HC/CL/CD/HF/AM/M/FM/HE (P100/P3) Highest Biological Protection Rating.
    BRAND NEW / Vacuum Sealed in Heavy Mil-Spec Foil (when kept sealed will keep filter fresh for a minimum of 5 years, however industry experts agree that while protected from moisture/air, these NBC filters should remain effective for 10-15 years or more.  For that reason, rather than marking the FR57 filter with an expiration date, 3M Protection in cooperation with the US Military (shelf-life extension program) list a test/inspect date instead of an expiration date.  At that point, the filter can be inspected to confirm integrity of the packaging and/or conduct testing, etc. & then extend the shelf life for an additional 5 or 10 years.
    Made in 11/2016, these filters are printed with a exp date of 11/2021 & typically have the shelf life extended to 2031 or longer if the testing/inspection determines that the vacuum seal remains perfect/intact, etc.
    This item is considered 'significant military technology' & therefore is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) & may not be shipped outside the United States without prior approval being obtained from the US State Department (Office of Defense Trade Controls). For wholesale/bulk purchases AGM / Approved Gas Masks can submit for an export permit on the end-users behalf, however approval is at sole discretion of US State Dept Defense Trade Controls Office
