This one features a swamp ash body with a snappy tone and rich resonance, capped off with a stunning buckeye burl top filled with blue resin. The ebony fretboard features an iconic and beautiful Tree-of-Life inlay. The Super Wizard wenge and purpleheart neck provides exceptional playability and rock-solid stability even under the most extreme playing conditions, and the “Velvetouch” finish on neck back and j.custom fret edge treatment ensures a "just right" feel and ease of playing. The Edge-Zero tremolo bridge features a lower profile design for playing comfort and a stud lock function for superior tuning stability – plus, the ZPS3 Zero Point System further enhances tuning stability and ease of tuning. The DiMarzio® Fusion Edge™, True Velvet™, and Tone Zone® pickups offer depth, warmth, and rich dynamics when combined with the 5-way pickup switch.
DiMarzio Ibanez Pickups
The DiMarzio®/IBZ pickups are specifically designed and manufactured by DiMarzio® for Ibanez, and they are not available separately. Like all DiMarzio® pickups, they are made in our New York factory. Both neck and bridge pickups are high-output models. The neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a Super 2™ (DP104). The bridge pickup is a little louder and warmer-sounding, and resembles a cross between the Steve Morse Bridge Model™ (DP200) and the Super Distortion® (DP100).
