Full-Color Photo (Polaroid Card) Cover, Cancelled STARPEX XXI,
(11 October 1981), with Scott's # 1918 (18 cent Space Shuttle Stamp) New
The Mission accomplished Successful Docking with the Agena Rocket, by Neil Armstrong and David Scott; practice for the Lunar Orbit Docking of the Lunar and Command Modules.
And then, the First Critical Failure in Space occurred, causing the Spacecraft to tumble out of control,
end-over-end
. The disconnected and Armstrong was able to right the tumbling craft.
