They’ve also rolled the edges of the fretboard and sculpted a new neck heel that delivers exceptional comfort. Add in a modern radius and narrow-tall frets (a configuration that works beautifully for most styles and techniques), and one thing becomes abundantly clear: the American Pro II series delivers superior handfeel for the discerning modern player.
But, the upgrades aren’t just ergonomic! Our friends at Fender have also equipped these beasts with refined V-Mod II pickups, which deliver that inimitable classic Fender tone with a dash of modern clarity. The American Pro II Jazzmaster also has several intuitive switching options that provide a ton of tones. You can toggle between a high-output modern sound or a lower-output vintage sound in the bridge position. And, you can use the rhythm circuit to put both pickups in series for delightfully thick tone!
