Eddie Van Halen took the world by storm in '78- 40 years later players are still chasing his 1978 tones.

This Wolfgang starts off with a basswood body with a beautiful carved figured maple top, the Chlorine Burst finish brings the figuring out beautifully.
This basswood is medium light weight- a great balance between mid focus and resonance, this sets the stage for the Wolfgang humbuckers to really shine.
These pickups are direct mounted to soak up the natural resonance of the body and add in their their famous mids.
They are high output without going over the top- a great balance between tone and push.
Fantastic crunch off the bridge pickup and syrupy, yet articulate sustain from the neck pickup.
A true tone machine.
The baked maple neck here is super comfortable- thin C profile and satin back for a fast feel.
The baked maple board has a 12"-16" compound radius- which allows for comfortable chording and effortless bends.
The icing on the cake is the EVH Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, complete with the D-Tuna, enabling effortless low E 1-step drops.
Eddie was instrumental in the design of the original Floyd, so this one's got the feel and tuning stability you need.
The look here is gorgeous- Chlorine Burst finish, 1-ply cream body binding, and parchment pickups.
