BB named all his guitars "Lucille" and he loved them all... "Lucille" might be one of the most iconic artist guitars although, it is not one guitar. This is a super clean example in great condition. Basically an ES-355 with special headstock inlay and semi-hollow construction without F-holes, as requested by B.B, to reduce feedback & loaded with 490R and 490T pickups and Gibson’s “Varitone.” The ebony board, the hollow body construction and the Varitone electronics deliver that typical BB King tone. This guitar was originally exported to Japan by YAMANO music who are very well known and admired for their very strict quality control and ability to cherry pick the best guitars and had special runs made especially for them. Overall this beautiful guitar is in excellent condition with only some very light player
that may include
some light weather checking (normal and common on older nitro finishes) minor dings, dents, discoloration or patina/corrosion of the hardware and very faint top coat scratches. Most importantly  It has been professionally setup for optimal tone and playability and comes complete with its original hard shell case.  " I wanted to connect my guitar to human emotions," is a famous quote that B.B. About the Gibson Lucille
In 1980, Gibson Guitar Corporation launched the B. B. King Lucille model. The most noticeable differences between the Lucille and the Gibson ES-355TD-SV on which it is based are the "Lucille" script on the headstock, the maple neck, and the lack of F-holes on the top. King requested that, to reduce feedback, there be no F-holes.
It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
