Beautiful translucent red lets maple figure show. Filter Tron humbucking pickups. Bound ebony fretboard with pearloid thumb markers. Gretsch tuners are smooth and accurate. Bigsby tremelo. Master volume control. 3 way switch lets you select, neck, bridge, and both pickups. With both pickups selected, master volume lets you choose how much volume from each pickup to tailor your sound. Sound ranges from jazz to trebly spank. Really has a nice jangle to it and takes pedals well. Includes nice hardshell case. Not sure if case is all original as I bought this instrument used. But guitar is all original. Very good condition with normal playing scratches, but no chips or dents. Professional setup with 10s including intonation done July 28th. Selling since I am having arm pain, my smaller Gretsch is nice, but doesn't have the full sound that comes from a large hollow guitar. This instrument has extremely low action without buzzes. I can make chords on this 1999 that were not happening before. The smaller Gretsch also plays great. Both are pro-line.
