1946 Walt Disney Song of the South magic lantern glass movie theater slide.
I do realize that the "Buy it Now" is high... Feel free to send an offer through eBay... Please keep in mind that I have already received a few offers, mostly from Disney and/or Song of the South collectors...
More rare than the movie posters and lobby cards that are hard to find (this is possibly one of a kind, I have never seen another in 20+ years of collecting glass slides, Disney or other Song of the South memorabilia)...
Glass slides were used to advertise upcoming movies at theaters and would be changed out with several upcoming movies several times prior to the main feature film of the day...
I've had this around 17 years (If I remember correctly I got this in 2004)...
Approximately 4" (inches) across and 3.25" (inches) top to bottom...
I've had this in my collection for several years now and ready to pass this along to the next person...
Super rare glass slide for a popular, hard to find controversial movie...

Released by RKO Radio Pictures in 1946. The premiere was held at the FOX Theater in Atlanta, GA
Very few glass slides (of any movie) survived as most were either broken (they are glass) or just tossed after the movie played... No one thought that glass slides could / would have any collector value back in the 20s, 30s and 40s...
It is very rare to find more than one glass slide for any particular movie... There are several glass slides on eBay at any given time but over the 20+ years of collecting I have seen very few duplicate slides for ANY movie...
This is one of the few items that will also be listed locally (online) tonight...
