I tested the pewter ingots for lead and they come back positive - however, the test swabs I used do show a positive test for lead on many other metals including those that do NOT contain any lead - see pictures. I have read many online reviews about these swabs and other's have confirmed that these will give a false positive with copper, zinc, and pewters that are lead free but contain copper or zinc. So, these pewter ingots may or may not contain a trace amounts of lead - To be safe, I would treat these as containing some lead and therefore don't use them for food items, etc.
Unfortunately the shipping cost for a single bar is high because of its weight, buying several at once will greatly reduce the shipping cost per bar.
